Project Manager Position

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Project Manager to join Flathead Junk Removal. Reporting directly to our Operations Manager, Ken Matejek, this role manages our crew of junk removal specialists and keeps customer service and day-to-day operations running smoothly across the Woodbridge, VA, and Northern Virginia area. You will supervise the crew, build positive customer relationships, and oversee the scheduling and execution of each job, making sure every team member is trained, equipped, and supported. The right person is organized, detail-oriented, quick to solve problems, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and familiarity with junk removal tools like dollies and hand trucks are a must, and because we take safety seriously, a solid knowledge of safety procedures is essential.

The Role

What You Will Do

Supervise the crew on site and make sure every job meets specifications
Keep accurate records of job progress and time tracking
Handle customer service and problem-solving on assigned jobs
Monitor attendance and enforce company policies
Communicate with customers about their needs before and during each job
Make sure safety standards and regulations are followed at all times
Train new employees on proper equipment use and safety protocol

What We Are Looking For

Military veteran or prior service, E-4 or above, honorably discharged
At least 3 years of experience in construction or waste management and removal
Previous supervisory or military leadership experience preferred
Valid driver's license
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable working in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards
Proficient with computers and technology
Must pass a credit check, background check, personality screening, and drug test
